Hey, why did they get rid of the Cenobites, especially the Chattering one with the contorted face?

I haven't seen the third film and have been looking all over for the first. But I've seen the second and then rented this one a few days ago, but from what I understand, the Cenobites are an important part of the Hellraiser world.
Or, at least they were. Does anyone know why they took then out?

Also, do they appear in any other movies besides the first two?

Chatterer, if I'm not mistaken, shows up in Inferno as well, as Torso boy :)

The Chatterer (Mandible) Cenobite appears in half of the films but looks ever so slightly different in each...

In 'Hellbound' (Ever so slightly different in that the wires seem to have gotten a lot thinner and harder to see)

From 'Inferno' (Didn't change much... lost his leather schtick and gained some sort of semi-eye sockets (where some of the wires thread through now)

Got no pics from 'Hellseeker' unfortuantely...

From 'Deader' (Almost back to normal here. His wires seem to still go up his head a bit though rather than straight round. Kitted out in Leather again tho!)
