Anyone know why the Victorian Cenebites promoted in Sci-Fi magazines didn't end up in the film? Anyone know what the original story involving them was about?

Just a general point...powdered wigs and britches aren't victorian, they're 18th century. Victorian would be top hats and greatcoats...
