Is it worth?

Hello,
Yesterday I saw this movie and I was, well kind of, disappointed. There just wasn’t that magic and excitement in this movie like in the first two (the third was partly ok). The acting wasn’t as nearly as good (or excellent) as Ashley Laurence’s. You even can’t say that there were any dramatically filmed sequences that would make this film special (or distinctive from the first three parts). The story is interesting, but the ending... I mean every film by now had an end that was implicitly saying that things aren’t finished (as they aren’t supposed to be), but this one had a big bang and a space ship traveling back to earth – neat.
So my question is: is it worth watching the other four parts (V – VIII)? The thing is that the newer the film is, the visual effects are better, but that doesn’t make a good horror movie, does it?
Cheers

Yes. The others get back to the first two in terms of using ideas over monsters. Parts 5 and 6 are different takes on the psychological thriller whislt Part 7 is a great cult-based horror film. Part 8 is a pretty bad film though, veyr much a slasher. So depends what you want. IMO Parts 3 and 4 were dreadful and failed to really understand what hellraiser works best as.
