Joe Chappelle


i saw this movie and thought that the directing was a similar style to Halloween: the origin of Micheel Myers, or Curse of Micheal myers. adn when i saw that Joe Chappelle didnt direct Bloodline i came here. why was he uncredited???? it seemed like his movie. i dunno. anyone????

He didn't direct Bloodline. Kevin Yagher directed it, google him to see his work. However Joe Chappell was the chap brought oin by the studio to utcher the film. He did the reshoots and re-edit, destroying Yagher's film. Thus Yager took his name off and it was credited to Alan Smithee.

oook. i see. was i the only one who thought it seemed liek a Joe Chappelle movie??? for some reason Bloodline and Curse seem shot similar. Bloodline is my favirote Hellraiser (other than part one) and curse is my favirote Haloween (other than one). wonder if in part by Chappelle.anywhoo, is there an original version of Bloodline out there???? without Chappelles reshoots???

There is an original script that is somewhat different from the theatrical release. This version starts off in France and doesn't have Merchant telling the story along the way. Here, just read it -
