It's kinda funny that each sequel of Hellraiser has some kind of special genre starting with HR3:
HR1 is pure horror; HR2 is also pure horror; HR3 is action; HR4 is sci-fi; HR5 is a detective movie; HR6 is a psychological Silent-Hillesque; HR7 is ocultism and HR8 is Hellraiser gone The Blair Witch Project 2.

Back to the Future and maybe Indiana Jones, Alien also. Alien 1-3 is good,
no clue about the one after, and the fourth Indiana Jones is coming out
soon. Die Hard 1-3 are alright, but number 1 is just much much better than
the second and third.

The quality of the Hellraiser movies as a whole got worse after the 2nd movie
imo.
Indiana Jones and BttF were consistent with acting, direction and stuff if you know what I mean... lol
Any way I dont really care, Hellraiser, Hellbound and Deader were the only
ones I liked, almost liked Bloodline and Hellseeker though lol~
Never read any of the books n *beep* though.
Off topic, but "Halloween IV" is the only sequel in the "Halloween" series to effectively mimic and pay homage to the original. Atmosphere and what we don't see is always more frightening than the deplorable excess of gore and cheap shock moments.
