If captain spencer's ghost got his throat slit open in hell and lived through it in part 2 and came back for part 3 why couldn't pinhead just as easily live through the explosion in this movie?
shareNot sure what you mean. Elliot wasn't a ghost in Part 2, he was Pinhead. When Pinhead was turned back to Elliot, THEN Elliot was killed. However, his "evil" was too strong and became a seperate creature. Elliot existed in limbo as he wasn't truly dead as part of him, his "evil" still existed. In the end, the two halves were re-combined.
He asn't killed by an explosion in Bloodline, although the terrible reshoots make it horribly unclear, he was killed by the lights of the Elysian Configuration hat destroyed all the cenobites within it.

He WAS pinhead in part 2 until pinhead got "zapped" off him.Then he was just a spirit without a boy.In other words a ghost.At lest that's how i saw it.
shareThe reason i thought he was a ghost is because captian spencer says in part 3 have you ever talked to a dead man before?And then the person in that movie says no and i think he says then i guess you have never met a ghost before then.Maybe elliot spencer can help me out with this because i not sure if he said he was a ghost in part 3 or not and he's good with this kind of stuff.
