When Janie's mom attempts to take her bra back from Janie's "expierment with mold" and it explodes in her face, does she say "now that's where my Veronica's closet bra went too" and if she doe, didn't Veronica's Closet start in 1997 and this movie was 1996. Was Veronica's Closet a fashion ourlet or designer or something?

Not only Veronica's Closet was just a TV show, but also a "knock-off" of the world-famous Victoria's Secret. I guess Nick wanted to avoid copyright issues from the actual fashion brand.
