I am a huge Lesley Gore fan, and I am interested to see this movie, because I know that the charachter played by Bridget Fonda is based on Lesley. I was just wondering how long she is in the movie for, what happens to her and is it worth getting just to check her out or is she barely in it?
shareShe is only in one scene and while she is singing her song, there are people talking. I LOVE this movie and I own the DVD. I would suggest renting it and if you enjoy it then you can always purchase it.

I thought maybe Lesley Gore, but then she talked about her "TV Show" and that made me think it was supposed to be Patty Duke, who put out some lame, over-produced records in the mid-60s...

shareThe only difference is that Patty Duke is not gay and is happily married to Michael Pierce, he work as a technical advisor for a TV movie she was in that was based on real incident. It was a good movie.
