Was this about JonBenét Ramsey? I havn't seen it yet but thats what is sounds like.

No. It's about 7 year old Jaclyn Dowaliby. She was murdered in the late 80's. She was kidnapped from her house in the middle of the night and her parents were accused of killing her.

I've seen the movie a few times and thought she was murdered in the early 90's('91ish). Guess it doesn't really matter. LOL

It happened in September of '88. David Dowaliby was convicted in 1990 and his conviction was overturned in 1991.

I seem to remember hearing about the case for the first time in 1991. I was in the car and I heard it on the radio.

The Boulder police should have seen this movie and learned from the mistakes...it might have save those poor Ramseys alot of pain and her real killer might have been caught...A man named Micheal Helgoth was in thier house that night but his DNA didnt match the DNA found on the body, so somebody else might have been there with him...they know it was Helgoth from the bootprint found near her body...but the DNA might have been fabricated...they spent alot trying to implicate John and Patsy...and investigators have been known to screw with evidence.

The Jonbenet case was busted from the start.

No, but it was a similar tragic story.

The JonBenet Ramsey case is featured in another film - 'Perfect Murder Perfect Town' starring Ronny Cox and Marg Helgenberger as the Ramseys.

Both very disturbing cases and very sad.
