It is absolutely fightening how politicians can screw up your life and there isn't a damned thing you can do about it.
Because the DA in question was Richard Daley. Son of mob boss/past mayor of Chicago. Furthermore, he was soon elected as mayor himself. You don't sue a Daley in Chicago.
sharei grew up in that town, it's very small townish....no experienced cop's,
although afew had alotta time in, the cop's were seen as revenue agents instead of real police....they may had to call in the sheriff's office to handle the case.
