I think this movie is great. The story is exellent and so is the acting. Anyone else liked this?

Agreed! I believe the first review shown is unfair. This story was movingly told and appropriate for family viewing (with children 10+). It also provides a family with the opportunity to discuss racism, justice and doing the right thing. My niece and I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to seeing it again.

this movie is wonderful....its great to see Alec Baldwin in such a profound role too!!!!

I love it too. Not only is it a great story, but I love the humorous moments in it as well. Like when William H. Macy's character says "Hell, I can't even get a woman to love me while I'm still alive".
What I really love is that it is a true story with a happy ending. So many movies about racism and hate, while providing a valuable lesson, have dark and depressing endings. It's so uplifting to see that for once, the bad guy doesn't get away.

It's pretty good. The story was also in the Reader's Digest. I liked the part where Bobby said "We don't ever make up for the wrong we done."
