No Oscars? How rude!

Anyone else think that this movie deserved a few nominations. If only for the performances? I do...

The film was nominated for Best Supporting Actor (Woods, over-the-top) and Make-Up.

Robin Willians won in the following year. Woods lost to Cuba Gooding, Jr.

That he is a clearly capable and overly admirable actor that has only chosen a small and very sleect amount truly impressive and award-worthy roles.
he was good in Ghosts of Mississippi but not quite award worthy. However, in The Cooler, he was more than deserving that nomination

There are many more actors like him, Samuel L. jackson is another one, as outstanding and truly brillaint as he was in Pulp Fiction and A Time To Kill, how often do we get a truly outstanding and award-worthy performance from Jackson?

I just saw this movie.

Wonderful movie. Watched 'The general's daguther' and then next i watched this. A little coincidence. I had never thought James woods acted in this, when i saw the movie in my queue in netflix.

I would say, Whoopi Goldberg, should have got an nomination and James woods should have won the nomination for his role in this.

Add to that, Alec Baldwin's performance is good too, he missed his oscar in 'The coolers' and Macy acted well in the 'The cooler' here he doesnt have much of a role.
