Inquiry about Dixie DeLaughter
It seems once she was gone, she was really gone. No mention of her again in the movie. Did the subject matter bother her so much that she would totally abandon her own children?
shareDoubtful, but she and Bobby's personal life wasn't the focus of the film. If the story had been done as a TV miniseries, they'd have probably addressed more of Dixie and Bobby's history.
