I've always thought Tarantino directed the first half of this movie. I was just informed that's not true and there's no indication of that being true anywhere.

I fully accept that i've been wrong all this time but I have to know: Did anyone else think this was partially directed by Tarantino? Where did I get that from?

I was sure Rodriguez only directed as soon as they get to the Titty Twister.

Quentin didn't direct any scenes of the movie. He was originally going to direct the movie but decided not to direct so he could focus more on the screenplay and his role of ritchie gecko.

On the DVD commentary Rodriguez says that he deliberately tried to copy Tarantino's directing style in the first half. Since the first half is a Tarantino style heist flick while the second half is a Rodriguez style "shoot em up."
