Ripoff of Vamp!
I swear this is a ripoff of the 80s movie, Vamp. It feels exactly the same except without the erotic performance by Grace Jones......all these years and that performance has stayed with me and I'm a heterosexual woman!
shareWhile both movies are similar, there are a couple of differences. Mainly how the change in genre/tone goes, Vamp starts off as being a typical 80's frathouse comedy before going into horror territory while FDTD starts off as a crime thriller and then becomes horror in the second act.
