I think that Jeff Daniels just makes this film - he is absolutley perfect and gorgeous (in a strange way!). The whole cast work brilliantly together too, I love this film - I first saw it when I was 9 when it came out. I still love it now!
sharei know! He does make the film, and i guess he is cute for a older guy. i am 14. lol. i saw the movie when i was younger too and i still love it. i want to get the dvd cause my vhs tape is messing up.
shareJeff happens to be one of my favorite actors. He is remarkably talented and dedicated. I live about 2 hours from the Purple Rose Theater in Chelsea, MI which he owns and is constantly involved with. He is also one of the first actors I encountered who did big budget gigs more or less so they could then go do stage or indie films they wanted to do.

shareThis movie shows him in a variety of moods, situations, and scenarios. He does well in all of them which means to me that he is one versatile actor no matter what he does and has my respect and admiration for that. He is one well-rounded actor (his abilities, not his bod!).
