A Bette/Diane/Goldie commentary is a MUST + any deleted scenes I'd die happy lol well I'd die even happier if a First Wives Club 2 were made hehe

It's amazing...this year marked its 10 year anniversary and the film is still shunted to the background.

For anyone in the know with this picture, Bette & Diane (or was it Goldie?) had proposed the option of a sequel to the film company but there was never any development on the idea. It's now been so long since, I don't know if a sequel would make as big of a splash as the first picture.

In any case, there are a LOT of deleted scenes from this film. I have a VHS where I actually recorded one of the preview commercials for the movie and they show a scene at the bah mitzvah where Bette Midler & Sarah Jessica Parker are fighting over cutting the cake and a scene where Goldie Hawn is mugged on the street and ends up taking the guy out (I think right before she goes to Bette's to apologize after the big drinking fight).

C'mon Paramount...jump on the Bonus Feature bandwagon to make an extra buck. I'd buy it.

There should be lots of bloopers from the film. There were heaps of Maggie Smith and Sarah Jessica Parker having lunch, when SJP kept laughing when she shouts "FORK!". I distinctly remember that. And a whole heap of scenes were deleted, and some minor dialogue removed. Such as, as said before, Bette Midler and SJP fighting at the bahmitzvah, and Diane Keaton getting splattered in the face with food; Goldie Hawn being mugged as she leaves her apartment; SJP driving Maggie Smith home in her newly bought Ferrarri; and extended dialogue scenes in the lesbian bar. Paramount must get their act together and put all these onto a SE DVD!
