Do people think this is True? I love this movie and it should have a sequel. After the money it made at the box office it deserves to have one as well. Why are Paramount so reluctant to talk about this.
nope, no sequel. Bette said in an interview that the three girls wanted to make one, but the studio said the first one was a fluke, and if they made a second one they wouldn't get paid.
Hollywood is very biased towards women, i'm afraid....when women make a successfull movie, the studio see it only as a fluke.
no way... a sequel would be a bad idea..why ruin a good thing.? it is very very rare that movie sequels are successful. I believe the movie is incredible, Bette, Diane and Goldie were the perfect trio for the film and the rest of the cast were amazing. Lets leave the characters where we last saw them..not knowing where they are now..
Ruin the original? Would they collect every known copy of part 1 and burn them in the streets? That's the only way the original could be harmed by an entirely different film, I don't see how a sequel does anything to the original.
