I Found A GOOF/TRIVIA!

Ahem, after thinking about each actresses heights, I searched around IMDB and found them out.

Bette Middler - 5'1"
Stockard Channing - 5'3"
Goldie Hawn - 5'6"
Diane Keaton - 5'7"

The goof is, that at the beginning of the movie when the four take a picture of themselves in College, Channing's actress is the tallest, and Middler's actress is much taller then she should be.
There's nothing much wrong with Hawn and Keaton actresses height though at the beginning.

"Sign it 'Dana Fairbanks - Professional Lesbian'."

True, I never noticed that before. But the actor they got to play the young Bette Midler looks a lot like her. And Stockard Channing, well I dunno...I didn't know she was only 5'3. She seems to be much taller than that like at least 5'6. Even in Grease I thought she was pretty tall.

Yeah true. IMDB goofs a lot it seems.

But yeah. Bette's younger actress looked a LOT like her, it was uncanny.

well some woemn do shrink as they get older hence why Brenda and Cynthia were not as tall as they were in the beginning of this smashing film

Not exactly a goof as some women do wear high (or higher) heels when others (at the same time) wear flats.

Exactly...it's hardly a goof.

People can shrink with age! Plus they might of been wearing heels!

Thats a bit picky for a goof, especially since its quite unnoticable and i think otherwise they did extrememly well in casting the younger versions of the actresses in terms of looks and mannerisms.

well you continue to grow until your 30...and being in college i presume they would have been about 23 at most...
