I don't get that whole line after the husbands say "You can't make us do anything!" and the women list these people who, apparently, CAN make them do whatever. All men, too. What was the point? That after all, the women COULDN'T make them do anything? It was weird the way they had that in there.

Because Uncle Carmine is in the Mafia so I'm guessing the men would do whatever Carmine(or any other mobster for that matter)say.

Yes, what Divic wrote. I only noticed recently how the score goes to a bit of Godfather-y music for a few notes when uncle Carmine reveals how all the stuff they sold the first year fell of the truck.
