Toby's and Laura's last names

Is Toby's last name (that of his biological father) ever revealed during the movie? How about Laura's maiden name?

I happen to have read an early draft of the screenplay (titled NO FEAR) which gave the boy's first name as Teddy (he wore glasses to boot) but still didn't give him, or his mom, a last name other than Walker.

One reason I ask is because I'm polishing a novel of this film which I plan on posting @ fanfiction.net. There doesn't seem to have ever been a tie-in novel published for FEAR, so I decided on writing one myself. I've taken a few liberties with the script, like giving Toby and Laura the last names of Boone and (respectively) Tobias. The former is an inside joke for fans of MORTAL KOMBAT (remember Ed and John?), and the latter explains how Laura came up with her son's name (we learn that most of her family died in a fire which gutted their house when she was eleven).

So what do you think of these prospective names - "Toby Boone", "Laura Tobias" - Do they fit?
