(Moore, actually, is an occassionally good actress. She's really touching in If These Walls Could Talk and quite fantastic and charged in Mortal Thoughts. As Katherine, she wouldn't be too damamging...)

Ralph and Kristin were perfect together.
this movie without Ralph Fiennes and KST wouldnt be the same.
I think the movie was brilliantly cast. KST and Fiennes had wonderful chemistry and Juliette Binochet is always wonderful. Goodman, Devito and Moore are talented, yes. But I think it would have taken the movie down about two notches in quality had they been cast in any of the key roles.
