Ralph Fiennes is so hot in this movie.

Those intense eyes of his are fascinating.

~"Yeah, but so what? Everybody's weird."

This was my favorite movie with him in it -absolutely fell in love with his passionate, intriguing character. Words can't describe how heartwrenching his love for Katharine was -the level of emotional vulnerability/torment he expressed due to his torturous feelings practically incinerated the screen. This movie and Ralph Fiennes haunted me for days (I'll never forget how it made me feel). He was just too hot for words in this movie.

Caught a bit of this yesterday, and was just coming here to say, he's never looked better!!!

Beautiful movie in every way. I think I may have to get this on DVD.

I've just seen this movie for the first time, and I totally agree. But I remember I found him very intriguing in 'Schindler's List' as well back then.

He is one of the best actors ANYWHERE ANYHOW. The directing was so good, especially the love making scene. Just saw the Christmas lovemaking scene, danger sex . . . . . whew! It is amazing to see the other posters on the board who can't just appreciate a film for the great performances and the skill of the director behind those performances. And the stories in the film. Not "the story" as there are interweaving stories. And, as to the storylines, the awful World War affecting them all.

Ignorant mobs don't get to win.

He was beautiful then. Amazing as the burned Count, too -- great make up job.
