End credits music

I have heard the music played near the end of the credits in about a million different places, and does anyone know what it is called or where it is from?

Hey what are you guys drinking in those tall purple glasses?

The music is from the original score of this film. But it has been used quite a lot for other purposes.

Maybe you're thinking about Bean the disaster movie or whatever. It shares the same melody.

I think they used that song ever since Dragonheart was released. I do recall hearing it in Mulan(Disney's Mulan), and recall hearing it in trailers to certain "epic" movies(I think one was "Last Samurai"). Though, I could've sworn I heard that song prior. Didn't they also use that song in the Last Emperor and Joy Luck Club?

reply

It was used for the trailer in seven years in tibet

David Copperfield uses it during his teleportation illusion, that's where I first heard it and had no idea where it was from. I just remember thinking "wow" at the music as much as the magic trick o_O
