Hi,
the only thing that sucks about that movie is that Einon did not win at the end ...
Besides I got a life ;)

Dragonheart is a lovely film. I can't quite explain why, but it just is.

I somewhat agree with you original poster, while this movie has many many great actors, the script was kinda crappy, particularly the actors' lines. but, heh, it was more than i could do.
shareYeah - great cast, pretty good concept, passable special effects, and then horrible dialogue. -_-'
shareI saw this movie mainly because I met the scriptwriter last year. I enjoyed its generally humble, unassuming nature and its willingness to incorporate silly idioms (like "Gotcha!) into Draco's lines. The film was much better than I expected. I thought I'd seen the end a few years ago, but I think it was actually the poor sequel.
The cockroach is a noble beast....
First off, if this was Star Wars, LOTR, Matrix, any comic book movie or fanboy movie like Serenity, I could understand your comment. But this movie has almost zero fans. The few that are here probably post out of curiosity. I don't see tons of messages on this board with fans talking obsessively about every single detail like I do for a ton of other movies (now those users really don't have a life).
shareZERO FANS?!?!
NO WAY! This is the greatest movie ever made! One IMDB poster/writer/person even said that no movie to date has had a better CG dragon, including LOTR, which is very true. The filmakers of Dragonheart didnt just make a mindless brute on the screen, they gave Draco a soul. Dragonheart is the first and only movie to date to have done this.

I would like you to reply as soon as possible, aka ASAP, promising me, nay, swearing by the blood of your ancestors, that you shall never breed.
Life in a box is better than no life at all. You could lie there and think, at least I'm not dead.
Come on. She(?) last posted three years ago. And have you never loved a movie your parents can't stand? Why would you deny her potential offspring life and the joy of watching this film just because their mother once posted a silly comment on its IMDb message board?
The cockroach is a noble beast....
Touche. I have loved many movies that my parents can't stand. Therefore, I take back my comment. You're right that her potential offspring may not be as much an idiot as their mother. I do beg that you recognize that I was only half-serious and was actually paraphrasing/quoting from another movie entirely. Thank you kindly for the reprimand.

Dude, you're the one hanging out on boards for movies you don't like. Why don't you get a life?
Red, blue, and green are all real colors. Yellow is a mystical experience shared by everyone.
