I liked it

I'm sure I'm not the only one, right?

I think its main problem is consistency of tone. Sometimes an innocent gets an arrow to the heart, then without changing gears there is physical humor that verges on farce. The basic story is just a bit too contrived and saving the young king at the beginning is as contrived as it gets - just not the kind of visceral story that I would prefer. That said, it might just hit the spot for the younger set.

No you're not. I liked it too - didn't love it but I enjoyed it surprisingly.

It was just a fun sort of film that you don't take really seriously and it had a good sense of humour too, and they gave Draco a likeable personality.

I loved it. To me, it speaks to the child in all of us, and to those who love fantasy.
Until LoTR came along, it was my favorite fantasy film.
