X.O's the world over.

Every one I ever came across, and I should know, I stood at attention in front of a few, I have found to have a vicious streak of a$$hole running through them. Nice to see some retribution with this, the small man syndrome XO being thrown over the side.

But I always found the captains to be the good guys, the nice fellas who you wanted to work for. The XO was the one you had to watch. It was always the same, nice guy captain, a$$hole XO.

So, since every captain was at one stage the XO, I can only assume that it's all a big act, some big secret they have from us. Having said that though, maybe that's why some were severe a$$holes. Those higher up the chain of command realized they were just suffering from Small Man Syndrome and kept the nasty bully boys on a short leash and without a command. Ok, that's nice, pi$$ them off, but it never actually helps the poor guy he takes his retrubution out against. Man, if I were a fly, I'd love to haveen be in Lauren Holly's quarters. Trouble is, there'd always be some damned XO about wanting to pull my wings off!
