Exagerrated explosion

Weird I never heard of this movie until now on Netflix and back then I kept up with the latest movies. Anyway, I can imagine if those barrels contained C4 it could make an explosion like that.

Maybe. Pretty good SFX for 1996 though!

Yes the sfx were impressive it looked like all of that stuff was really going on. I wish they toned down the Terminator 2 nuclear explosion.

I think they were going for a backdraft kind of thing with the fire running through the tunnel.
