Worst Ending Ever!

****SPOILERS!!!******

the was the worst *beep* ending i've ever seen! the guy is disinagrated by a *beep* of crows flying at him... it wasn't like The Birds style ware they are actually pecking him to death they simply fly at him! WTF!!!! that just irritates the *beep* out of me to see an ending like that, i mean i wasn't ecpecting much... lets face it the whole movie basicaly sucked, but come on! i didn't relize that there was any possible way to let down my low expectations any further, but guess what... congrdulations! this movie managed it. i think i'll go kill myself now for just knowing that peices of garbage like this are out there in the world.

Miramax has a really bad habit of not finishing special effects. That effect was probably only about 45% complete. They just left it in without finishing it. They do it all the time. As far as the movie sucking - well, Miramax is to blame for that, too, because the real director's cut was about 2 1/2 hours long. The version out right now isn't actually a director's cut, Miramax just titled it that to make money. And i agree that the bird effect was terrible. In fact, it's outright *beep* LOL

I didn't think the movie exactly sucked, but, that ending *is* pathetic and ruined the whole thing.

The movie was pretty good, but I completly agree with you. That finale was f#cking horrible. But I kept watching the first half to get me into the movie a bit more and not bother with the finale.

just switched over it, i think these were not crows, these were sparrows, in greek mythology they sometimes are regarded as death symbols and guides who take the soul over to the others side... :)

Originally, they were supposed to peck the crap out of him and eat him alive, this practically deintagrating him.
The comic book version shows the potential this had.

The crow (the original) is one of my favourite movies of all times and this sequel was a really big dissapointment. The movie was really bad in just about every aspect but the ending was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I wish this movie had a different name, one that no one could even relate to the first movie.

This movie was so good. Unfortunately the last ten minutes sucked so bad. Someone at Miramax should re-edit that awful, awful ending. Not only did the crows phasing through Judah look lame but Sarah's death was dumb, I mean she practically impaled herself.

reply

I don't really care about the crappy visual effects job I'm just mad that they killed Sarah. The ending could have done with a bit more done to it tho. It must be just me but I have a thing for crappily done movies, i love them.

I read on a crow website, and it said if this movie would have done well at the box office, the third film would have had Sarah as the crow, but that didn't happen, and we had the piece of crap called The Crow Salvation.

reply

Also looking at all the movies in every movie the crow was male so it would have been nice to see a female one. I think that either way they should have made sarah the crow just so she and Ashe could be together. Yep Yep.

yeah, that ending wasn't very satisfying. i hated judah, and felt he desirved a much more vicious and painful killing. he kinda got off easy which made me hate the ending.

His soul being torn apart could easily have been done WHILE he was being ripped apart, I have to agree, the blurring streaks passing through him, along with him suddenly vanishing, and as someone else said, Sarah practically throwing herself onto the knife for no good reason, someone REALLY messed up here. I would be curious about the directors cut, if it's ever released.
