has anyone seen the uncut version??
just wondering???
i really would like to see it.
apparently, it does not exist in watchable form. Though on the special edition, you can see the script for it. Some stuff is pretty cool too.
shareyes i have the uncut directors version and it's much better. You can see by this film what damage Miramax did to it when they choopped it to bits. Most of the human sides of the crow were cut out, some good characterization was butchered and some of the best moments were cut too. This version is much better to watch than the original cut that was first put on the cinema and onto DVD.

How did you get it? Did you download? Pm me a link if you did... I've been looking for it for a long time.

Aside of the re-editing and inserted still images, how much actual new footage is in the second coming version?
Valhalla is not for the sheep.
to my knowledge, it has all of the deleted scenes from the "Director's Cut," and a list of other things. There is actually a site that has the torrent that includes a list of added footage, animatronics, etc. if I find it I'll post it here.
"The Crow" is the best "Comic book/graphic novel" movie. It's true.
I hear its tough as hell to get working though. BTW, that post i made a while ago, Wikipedia said the deleted scenes were in the pay per view version (which is odd, you'd think you see the deleted scenes on youtube, not those little crummy extended ones), or workprint.
sharewhile it is tough to get working from what i understand ( a couple of friends dl'd it ) i got it working rather easily without having to burn the files to dvd using vlc media player. just go to google n type in vlc hope that helps.

i dont think that counts as a directors cut chief. i believe its got " more blood n violence " or something but nothing of the original cut in it. alot of *beep* gets called directors cut nowadays n turns out to be just the same movie with a visual touchups. i wouldnt count on this. but yeah ive read the script and the comics

Unless the franchise is revitalized by either a successful film or television project, I doubt there's much chance of an actual director's cut seeing the light of day. Both Salvation and Wicked Prayer were DTV failures and although the Stairway To Heaven series enjoyed pretty high ratings, it only recently got a DVD release which hasn't been flying off the shelves.
A few years back, Edward Pressman and Jeff Most wanted to do a fifth film with a female lead, but after the disappointing performance of Wicked Prayer, it's all quiet on the western front.
its a shame we'll never get to see this in its entirety man 2 1/2 hours of this masterpiece cut into shreds just so a producer can shoot his rocks off on a crow clone. i think C.O.A woulda made the original look like crap by leaps and bounds and thats only because the original was cut as well maybe by at least 30 mins. Disney would never allow a violent masterpiece like this to be rereleased cuz it goes against their child friendly policy. but they let *beep* like alice in wonderland slip ( i heard that movie was based off of someones bad acid trip ) lol
