The actual director's cut of the film. Miramax/Dimension released a two disc dvd in 2000 claiming it was "The Exclusive Director's Cut!" but lied to everyone as only one or two scenes were added to the film on the DVD and VHS. The Studio did this to fool the fans who watched the PPV version of the movie and it was totally different than the theatrical cut with tons of deleted scenes and the alternate ending, which I don't want to ruin for you, it's that good.
The Second coming is a total recreation of this, with the available deleted scenes, storyboards of the lost scenes and in some places script images. It's interesting and great to watch, and it makes the real fans of the series wonder what would have been. I suggest it, it's worth it in my opinion.

Also, are we referring to the same version as-- or the closest thing to-- the late-90's Pay-Per-View extended cut?? Because that's a/the version I'd be really curious to see...
I'm starting to think we should try petitioning/calling Netflix to get Miramax to stream the PPV version... it certainly wouldn't cost the studio anything to manufacture (plus, they're basically just sitting on the print anyway), and they seem to have acquired a lot of their catalog lately.

I've been searching for the Second Coming edit since shortly after it was supposedly released in 2007. While I have run into people on the net who claim to have actually downloaded and seen it, I've never come across a legit torrent that could be used. The closest I came to was a torrent that had no seeders attached to it.
At this point, six years later, I've just about given up hope of ever actually seeing it. At this point, I'm thinking it's either lost or was all just a rumor to begin with It's a shame, because all someone has to do, assuming there's one person left on the planet who has it on their computer, is take a few hours out of their day and upload it onto YouTube. Then we could all enjoy it.
I've been trying to find this myself for ages and no luck. Maybe went the new Crow film comes out the studio will release the PPV version (or at least a decent Blu-Ray version with the deleted scenes as extras).
I want to watch this so bad. I'd pay money to watch it. :/

Here's a petition for releasing this uncut version. For the time being, I think that hassling Netflix/Miramax to license it to Streaming may be our best bet (hell, someone could always find a way to record, save & share it from that…):
