Hey Crow, sweet belly shirt

I like your little bob hair cut as well, Like how much volume it has.

WTF is this crap? Its really a stretch to imagine this stuff being current even when this came out. the first crow was cool and I think has stayed pretty timeless. after looking at the sequel costume design artwork, looks like they were going for a pretty gay, feminine anime look. lame. fail.

Clearly you didn't see the rest of them, this was a masterpiece compared to those, and if you didn't notice. Brandon was quite pretty in the Crow.

If by "rest of them" you mean the fifteen horrible, low budget sequels, no, I dont count those as anything worth acknowledging having occurred in modern history.

The second crow looked like a 1980's prostitute.

LMAO, OK I agree with you there.

BUT

Just because a man is pretty doesn't mean he looks like a prostitute. Vincent and Mia were simply stunning to look at esp. their scenes together.

Get off the pretty issue, I'm not debating who is pretty or not. I'm saying that looking back 15 yrs later, the second crow's outfit and haircut comedicly resembles a 1980's whore.

How did it differ that much from the original? Is it the cut off shirt that bothered you so much? He had the abs so show off, so why not? Not saying Brandon didn't but we didn't get to see them much in that.

Brandon had longer hair, if you will recall. I understand though - that pretty thing disturbed me as well.

To me, same outfit different man. Watch the original one again and you will see what I mean.

You really haven't paid much attention to the first one huh? I'll refresh you:

he worse a spandex/vinyl full body suit covered in belts, electrical tape, and twine topped with a traditional trench coat. Overall, not entirely unlike an Edward Scissorhands look. He had straight, sholder length, greasy dark hair.

In CONTRAST, the sequel Crow had a short, layered/volumeized bob haircut, belly shirt thing, and a stylized, gothic trench coat. Men with abs exist, but its still gay for them to walk around in a tube top.

Trench coat = check
Slash across the spandex/belly shirt = check.
Dark hair = check, those were Vincent's natural highlights showing. If you recall Brandon had brownish/reddish natural highlights and they showed too.

Brandon did not really have greasy hair - it just laid flat naturally.
Vincent's hair fluffs naturally.

You sound like you have some serious issues there.

Ashe and Eric were not meant to be the same.

How many straight men have you seen who wear belly shirts??

the hair was styled.

God knows they dont have to be the same HOWEVER that does not mean the second one has to be overly effeminate, and the second one is absurdly effeminate.

Back in the 80's quite a few, no the movie was not made then, but I suspect that is where the directors head was, back in the 80's.

Some men are just that way. The more girlie ones obviously, that is why they are girlie. There is nothing wrong with that, just as there is nothing wrong with all the very masculine women running around.

Its OK for one sex but not the other.

Its not a faggy movie, its a movie that should have been dated 12 or so years earlier, it has the look and feel of 1984. The original Crow, did not have that trouble, it was 90's all the way.

Watch them back to back and you will see what I mean.

I disagree, B's hair was straight and greasy. He was dripping wet the majority of the movie.

Yes, exactly, this style comes across very 1980s, very Tommy Ramone and that is precisely why it should be made fun of.

Okay great, yeah, men have a right to be girly, it's their life however this is a super hero kind of movie and Super hero's and the crow are not intended to look and act like girls. They just arnt, this is a problem. I dont know why youre defending a girly Crow. Also, for as much defense you give sexual orientation choices you really need to eliminate the word "fag" from your vocab.

OK OK, have it your own way.

You don't like it, its your right, I like it, its my right.

I see we have two totally different ideas of what "girlie" means. Brandon was quite IMO girlie as well, as was his father. Though they were still pretty manly, as is Vincent - so to me I see no difference in them at all.

They were both gorgeous to look at and I tend to the prettier men.

Technically, in the original comic Eric Draven is described as androgynous.

Also Ashe isn't wearing a belly shirt he's wearing a vest with no undershirt. Seeing his belly is incidental. Having stringy hair that flairs out naturally isn't that weird. Mine does it when I grow it out. In the big scheme of things he's not that "girlie". As far as the characters go I liked his makeup best (all respect to the amazing, beautiful makeup done in the first film)

It isn't a belly shirt, it is his dead son's vest (you see it in a flashback) and that's why it is small on him.

Watched this on Netflix last night; no comparison to the original but a not-horrible guilty pleasure kind of flick (if you believe in guilty pleasures, of course.)
