I know she was brave and fought valiantly, but the requirements for the Medal of Honor were standardized among all the services, requiring that a recipient had "distinguished himself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty."
I don't think she qualifies there. Maybe I am wrong.
I would say yes for two reasons:
1. She was the only one of her crew who was willing to stick in out in a bad situation in the hope of saving a badly injured fellow soldier instead of looking out for herself and leaving him behind.
2. She sent her squad to safety and covered them against the enemy while they fled to the helicopter.
And let's not forget that she ended up in that situation in the first place because they flew into danger to save the first squad that went down.
I'd say all that adds up to the criteria you mentioned.
