Did anyone else have to watch this every year?

This movie was a tradition for me, along with Rudolph and A Christmas Story. Looking back, it's not a great movie, but it's all about the memories. They haven't played it the past few years, but I hope ABC Family decides to play it this year.

Was this movie a must see for anyone else?

EDIT: I looked around on a few other threads, and apparently they are playing it this year(and have played it in the past few)! I'm definitely going to have to catch it this year though!

It was on last year around midnight, as was supposed to be playing Sunday at midnight as well, but I checked on my TV and the 700 Club or whatever is running at that time. Anyone know when its going to air?

Yeah I used to watch it all the time too, and I didn't realize they were still playing it. I don't see it listed at the time that person mentioned though, so maybe it depends on your cable provider....I don't know. There making some other movie similar to it, im not sure it its an actual remake or not though.

I missed it??!!? Me and my little brother find this movie soooo funny because its just terrible. The past few years we have been trying to find it on around xmas time and it hasn't been. We're really hoping to see it this year.

I made myself get up early that day just to see it! I wish they would go ahead and release the original on DVD because the remake they did of it on ABC family was REALLY BAD!

YES!, my Christmas doesnt start til i have seen it but the last two years it hasnt been on (in the UK).

I love it!

YEAH! This movie is great, it's the one obscure Christmas movie I know can be on TV every year. I hope they play it this year too.

I have been looking for it every year, but hadn't found it until this year. It was on this morning on ABC-Family at 7:30 AM EST. I also wish it would come out on DVD because I would buy it in a heartbeat. I loved "Groundhog Day" and I loved this movie as well.

omg this morning i woke up at about 9.00 and saw that i missed all my favorite parts in the movie me and my brother used to watch this every year but then when it stopped playin we just assumed that it stopped airing does any1 no another time its gonna play this year?
