About the ending
The end of the film showed an old woman trashing a department store and not even the police nor the army can control her. Can anyone tell me what was that about?
shareIt was Tom Arnold's character's mother. There was a running joke through the movie that she was a monster. He was supposed to have lunch with her at the Sizzler and when he didn't show up and when the Sizzler didn't have good service, she became a bigger monster.
shareAnd apparently she had wreaked havoc there before b/c he was alluding to them having a restraining order or some kind of legal action where she wasn't allowed to go near that building. The whole movie he was like "DON'T GO THERE." But since he was late for meeting her for lunch somewhere at the end, she went back to Sizzlers and acted like a jerk again.
