The ACCEPTANCE SPEECH

I thought the final speech was very moving and emotional. Does anyone else feel the same?

If you watched "Movie Connections"(see thread below)it explained that nobody in the audience actually knew what P.P. was going to say in his speech-watch some of the reactions and they`re undoubtedly genuine-a classic moment in British cinema.

It was great. However, I was surprised that a chap like him would use the F-word in front of women.

Too right. A defence of a way of life that had honour,decency and humour.
A cracking film. One of best 2 0r 3 British films ever made for my my money, and certainly the best in the last 30 years. (Just shades Billy Elliott).
