The story and the movie overall wasn't that interesting, but Victory Spansky was one of Michael Caine's more memorable roles.

Definetly he was good. He makes the movie worth watching as opposed to Nicholson's shouting. But Nicholson too gives good support. Micheal Caine had the best dialogues.
