A scene I love

I adore this beautiful film, and a scene that really stands out to me is at the end of the night when everyone is leaving, Campbell Scott's character climbs into his new Cadillac and drive away into the night. Secondo can only watch as the car he so desires, and his dreams, his future in America, fade off into the distance. Really masterful filmmaking there.

That scene has always been overshadowed for me by many others, particularly the nearly silent ending scene with the eggs, but you make a good point. I see something new in this movie every time I watch it. Will notice that one more next time.

I loved how happy Primo looked when he had Anna in the kitchen with him. It was such a surprise, he looked completely overwhelmed with happiness at that very moment.
