Lisa was so negative + doubtful of Lewis.

If I was Lewis I would of went looking for someone more appreciative of his affections than Lisa. She had so many negative reasons for not giving him & love a chance. How many more chances is she going to have to find someone this great? A guy like Lewis is one in a million.
He proposing to her in front of his wonderful family was so touching. Her reaction to run out was so cruel. Then she gives him all these reasons she can't marry him.
If I was Lewis, I would of said "heck with you, your too negative"!
Anyone agree?

Yeah, but then again, that's what made Lewis one in a million--the fact that he was willing to forgive her.

I would have to say the entire time I watched this movie I kept saying to myself "Why her?" She is no where near good enough for a guy like this. But the last five minutes of the movie when she went to him and started the whole "Wait...Don't go." speech I managed to forgive her for being an idiot. But still, I would have liked to see him with someone not so doubtful. But then again the movie might have been boring in that case.

You can't help who you fall in love with. Besides, in life, sometimes one person is stronger, sometimes the other is. You just have to hold on tightly to each other and keep moving forward.

How's this gonna work if you don't do what I say?

Yes, I hated this movie because of that!

Idk why but their relationship kinda reminds me of Steve and Miranda on Sex and the City b/c like Miranda... Lisa is a negative redhead..and Steve is a good hearted nerd like Lewis.

She was an abused child who never dealt with what happened to her. Of COURSE that is how she turned out. It takes a special person to deal with that, and Lewis was that person.
