I went to high school in New Mexico, as did Mike Judge. My senior year, my music teacher pulled out an old yearbook from Highland High School in Albuquerque, NM (where Mike Judge graduated from and got the name for B&B's school in the show) and showed us a picture of the REAL guy that Beavis was based on. His name was Bobby Beavis and his pic was IDENTICAL to what the cartoon looked like. He had tall blond hair, a pointy jawline, the exact same eyes as the cartoon version and wore a heavy metal t-shirt. I always wondered if Mike Judge compensated the real Beavis or not due to likeness/design because the cartoon was the spitting image of this guy. I don't know if Butthead was based on anyone real but if he was, I'm sure the resemblance would be as uncanny as Beavis'. My other question would be if Mike Judge knew Bobby Beavis as a friend or if he was like the kid people made fun of and so he turned him into a cartoon or even if Judge simply saw the same picture in his own yearbook and created the cartoon without even knowing the kid.
