It's stupid this got a Rasberry Award.
It just don't seem right to me. It doesn't make any sense to give this a Rasberry Award.

people just don't get it. And some people who don't get it still love it. Its very unique in that respect. Its able to have a dumb audience and a smart audience. And its still able to go over both dumb and smart peoples heads.
shareThey were nominated, but they did not won.
shareThis was nominated for a rasberry ? My only guess for that nomination is that they didnt actually watch the movie.
shareThe Rassie awards are pretty stupid. They seem to jude movies on how much money they make, or what the critics say about it, not wether the movie actually sucks. I thought B&B Do American was awsome and I'll probably get the new dvd.
shareYeah, my guess is they just didn't watch the movie because anyone with the right mind would know that this didn't deserve a Rassie award.

The only raspberry this can get is from a technical standpoint. The animation is crude and rough and of a very low quality but to me it makes the movie more effective.'Crude and rough'? While the earliest episodes did indeed have animation of this low quality, by the time of the movie the artwork and animation had become a lot cleaner, even in the TV series (even animating on single frames whenever necessary, such as when a character was walking across a panning background), and this slickness of motion carried on into the movie. Just look at the quality of Frog Baseball and then look at the animation in Beavis And Butt-Head Do America and the quality improvement will be very noticeable (even B&B's voices are more refined and raised in pitch, fitting their characters better, methinks!). share
I see what you mean. The animation back then looked terrible compared to the later series.
"Apparently, making a point means you're ripping on someone?"
The voices of Beavis and Butt-Head were also inferior back then, I reckon. When both were raised in pitch slightly it made such a difference.
shareThe animation in this movie was pretty good. That scene when the duo dance in the casino is probably the best job I've seen blending 2-D animation with CGI.
What smells like blue?
How can this get a rasberry award?
Even Siskel and Ebert gave it 2 thumbs up.
It's pretty rare that I even agree with them at all. But even they saw how great this movie is.
It ranks up their with the South Park movie for being best animated cartoon made from a existing TV show.

Raspberry Awards = Bunch of dillholes.
sharesorry not everyone has your taste in movies shattered. You're so above us because you ranked Slumdog Millionaire as your favorite movie 2009. You're so much more cultured cause your riding the same Indian D%ick that every other wanna be artistically deep person does. I bet you're one of those types where you hear an ad for a movie: Here's a film about a cop and bumbling dog sidekick. "God, only a moron would want to watch that!" It's the feel good hit of the summer, Gladskrisk. Croation with English subtitles. "Oh my god, I have to see it!"
shareYou make blanket judgement about people based solely on a typo of a word that is spelled counterintuitively... Now is see the type of person hates this awesome movie.
Well, don't want to sound like a dick or nothin', but, ah... you're fuhked up. Ah, you talk like a fag, and your sh!t's all retarded.
All you have to do is check out what other winners of the past have been from them, and realize they really don't have much of a clue about anything much at all... and anything they did get right was because that's what everyone else was thinking at that time too.
