this movie was boring, and over complicated (not like the show at all)

Besides having the characters from the show this didn't have anything in common with the show.
I dont understand why they had to add so many over the top things like the virus or the agents going after them, why was this so different from the show? I understand they had to make a much bigger story than they did for the shows, but why make this a roadtrip/ cop comedy drama/ revenge story? was it really necessary to add the guy trying to kill his wife or the wife having that virus thing?
it was so over the top it always ruins it for me. it takes away all the simplicity from the show and adds this "Michael Bay" like story to the movie. I never understood why Mike Judge went this way. i liked the show but this feels nothing like the show.
I remember seeing back then and being bored out of my mind. there were some jokes but the movie felt like a dull, cliche cop movie whenever the story was not focused on B&B.
i saw it again last year and it was worse.
very strange movie, what baffles me the most is how everyone else loved it so much

I don't recall that. I thought the point of it was to explode and create like a mass crater in the earth.

what about the scene with the sick soldiers in the beds?

Watched it the other night and saw that part, had forgotten about it. I only remembered the part about it taking out like a 4 state radius or something. IDK, thought it was a decent movie, has some funny parts.

I liked it because it had Beavis and Butt-Head in it.

Over complicated? Good god, it had a plot that even Beavis and Butt-Head themselves could follow.
