Did anybody find it amusing when the dog grabs the guy by the crotch?

Then Barb says "You don't want me to tell her to roll over, do you?"

Screw that, if someone did that to me, I'd say "I got a command for her." Then I'd grab the dog's ears, and pull them so hard that she'd yelp and as soon as she lets go, I'd break her neck and say "How about play dead?" because no dog would grab my crotch and live to bark about it.

Now that's funny because Pam is like one of those PETA freaks.

... the dog bites down clean through your equipment before you've had a chance to even touch its ears.

Wow, it makes you sound so 'menacing' when you talk about animal abuse in such a cavalier way... ... I'm no fan of PETA, but I'd rather be at their end of the spectrum than yours. There was undetectable humour in what you typed.

... and to answer the limp rhetorical questioning of your title; no I didn't, because a similar scene is used to much better effect in K-9, where it's Pruitt Taylor Vance who gets within uncomfortable proximity of canine teeth.

I'm sorry, I don't speak monkey...

When a dog intends to inflict harm on me and I'm fending the dog off, I don't call it animal abuse or cruelty. It would be different if I just approached a dog and started hurting it just for the hell of it.

[sarcasm]Now I'm off to tie my pet python into a knot, and swat my budgies with a badmington racquet Then I'm going to inflate my pet frog and snake like balloones just like in the Shrek movie and watch them float off in the sky.[/sarcasm]

... To be fair, I don't know your lifestyle, so I'm asking you the question?

All I know is, the dog in the movie was justified in its actions, so that's why I'm siding with it. In your initial post, you seem to be on the side of the intruder... If someone doesn't wanna be attacked by an animal, then they should maybe think twice about trespassing on the territory that it's trying to guard. If you're not doing that; then you have my sympathy and tacit acceptance of doing whatever is necessary in self-defense...

The visual imagery of playing badminton using a budgie as a shuttlecock is hilarious. (Don't try this at home, kids! ) See, I'm not some eco-nut, after all... I hope one day that Dick Dastardly gets to offer visitors some pigeon pie...

You do have a good point there.
