Song/Artist

Does anybody know the name of song and artist for the extended version of the Pam's water spray scene.
Not he opening scene, that's "Word Up.
I'm talking about the slow song associated with the extra footage scene.
I think the same song plays very briefly while she in the bubble bath.

reply

the song "word up" that was used in barb wire is by a band called "Gun"

reply

No, I'm not talking about "Word Up"
The song I'm talking about was played in the extended water scene played after the movie. It was also heard briefly in the scene where she's taking a bubble bath. It's not on soundtrack or listed in credits.

Korn - word up

I have tried to find out. I even called some phone #s in 1996 when the movie came out on video but to no avail.

I think the artist might be Clark Stiles, who did some soundtrack work, but I was never able to reach him to find out for sure.

And just to reiterate to others who replied, it is NOT "Word Up", that is from a different scene which I already stated in an earlier posting.

Thanks, I was glad to know somebody else also thinks the song is cool.

Nope, I still don't know.

I read something that led me to believe it might have been composed and performed by Tommy Lee.

But since it's not like he's had some stellar solo career, I still don't know if it's available, or the name of the song.

I used to know all of the songs from the movie. At one time had a speical promo copy of the soundtrack that wasn't avabile to the public. Just picked up a unrated copy of the movie so I will check it out.

OK, that would be great!
The eternal quest finally realized, haha.

The same song can be heard faintly during the bubble bath scene, somewhere around the mid-point of the movie.
But I promise you, it was not on the soundtrack released to the public.

Finished watching the DVD, and the extras today before work. I am sorry but I do not know the song for the extra footage and not the song that I thought it was. Sometimes in the song the voice sounded like a little bit like Tommy Lee

What sucks at the end it shows no copyright year or nothing just stops and goes straight to the main menue

That link is useless.
I know this site lists the soundtrack.
If you read the prior messages in this thread you would see that we have already acknowledged that this song was not listed in soundtrack. Nor was it included in the soundtrack DVD.

But thanks for the interest......

reply

damnit, wtf is this song!

reply

damid!! ur posting the wrong song! that song is word up.

I'm talking about song played after movie ends, in the outtakes....while she hangs from a swing and gets sprayed with water.......

reply

I just didn't think it was Korn (I heard some crap stuff from them once) , you must be fed up of trying to find that song for all these years man lol.. anyway listening to Korn - Word Up, the youtube music of that song, it really isn't exactly like the same version, following the lyrics there are some changes and also some differences in the instruments usage compared to the that barbwire version.

oh well thx its good enough

reply

Right some further investigating.. for those saying its "KORN - word up", for that credits intro used in barb.

.. its actually "GUN - Word UP" !

cabsher111, you're aware of the text above the song listings on IMdB's soundtrack page?
Please note that songs listed here (and in the movie credits) cannot always be found on CD soundtracks. Please check CD track details for confirmation.

So, the song you're looking for can very well be included on that page....(There are 11 songs on the US edition of the soundtrack album, and there are more than 11 on that soundtrack page).

Also, have you tried to post you question on some of the Music boards, or the I Need To Know board?

must be the song i came here looking for too. it was playing during the credits. there's a few songs on movies they don't release and no telling what they could make, especially now days just having it on itunes they could probably make 10k in no time once ppl found it was on there.

Maybe he doesn't answer to Chuck. Call him Charles. Charles!

I actually always thought the song was Angel by Clark Stiles. I was able to find almost every song from the IMDB soundtrack list except for 'Live or Die - Montage' and 'Michael Garson (as Miguel Garcia) - Tango for Griselda'.
Now that i think of it...perhaps 'Montage' is the song from the extended stripscene..?

I also used to think it was Angel.
Never could verify that, though. And then later in the thread, someone says it sounds like Tommy Lee.

Never been able to find much info on Clark Stiles either.
