I started to root for the dog in the very beginning because I knew a battle between him and the werewolf would happen.
I thought Thor was the only rational thinker and I liked how the guy was kind enough to TRY and not kill the dog.
I didn't like when the pound came and got him, but I cheered when the kid got him out and I yelped when he jumped on the back and bit the werewolf's neck.
Awesome dog.
A total bad ass...

shareI own 6 German Shepherds and this movie is one of THE best movies in my eyes. German Shepherds do act like Thor does in real life, FYI. They are the most noble, loving and intelligent dogs.
Thor MADE the movie for me.
But, when the Sheriff when into his rant about dogs getting a taste for human blood and being dangerous I just wanted to slap the sh/t out of him..and how could Janet be so stupid and oblivious to Thor and and what he was 'saying' to her. Some people just don't know (or can't) how to listen to animals.
When Thor got taken away I just wanted to cry. But, of course when he was busted out of jail by Brett and came home to save the day, I was so happy! :) :) :)
I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

shareThe dog was the dumbest fucking plot point in the film. The werewolf looked awesome and then they have him fight an 80 pound dog and lose? I think people who are obsessed with dogs should not be allowed to comment on horror films.
