very underrated Werewolf flick

Yes, it's not American Werewolf in London, The Howling, In the Company of Wolves or Dog Soldiers....but this is one enjoyable popcorn werewolf flick. The acting isn't horrendous, and the creature effects were pretty decent (except for the transformation). The werewolf itself is eye-pleasing as it's not all based on CGI.

I liken this a lot to Silver Bullet, which has plenty of flaws, but overall it's a fun hour and a half.

The only gripe I have is one I saw on another thread. Uncle Ted is an *beep* for coming to his sister and his nephew. He knows what he is, hates living with it, knows he might not be able to contain himself in time....yet he still puts them in danger. I've never read "Thor" which this is based on, but I am guessing it's the same premise so I know it probably just followed the book in that regard.

silver bullet has flaws? Huh. This is one of the best overlooked werewolf movies out there. 8/10.
