The title doesn't coincide with Ted changing every night

I like the title Bad Moon but doesn't coincide with the lack of need for a full moon in this film even through we seen plenty of full moons.

That's true. However, when Ted and Brett were discussing the werewolf movie, Ted suggested that in his experience (lol), a werewolf can change under any moon. So, perhaps any moon is a "bad moon."

Brienne: "Any last words?"
Stannis: "The siege begins at sunrise."

reply

If it's any moon the transformation is caused by tidal effects or drop in sunlight.

I felt there something stupid on why werewolves have to change at a full moon, why not any moon as Ted said.

reply

On the other hand, perhaps the moon has nothing to do with the transformations to begin with. Perhaps it's simply a nightly or semi-nightly occurrence.

Brienne: "Any last words?"
Stannis: "The siege begins at sunrise."

Another poster and I think the werewolf is biological, and thinks maybe UV rays keep the transformation in check, drop in visible sunlight is enough to start it.

There's a thread here about whether the werewolf is science based.

I think that the werewolf is biological as well, although I doubt that the creators put all that much thought into it. It seemed to me that Ted changed into a werewolf every night. However, when Ted told Brett that in his experience, werewolves could change under any moon, I took it as a generality rather than canon. He obviously wouldn't fully understand his condition.

Brienne: "Any last words?"
Stannis: "The siege begins at sunrise."

If werewolves did exist the weakness' and what causes the transformations would be something looked up in a book, as you said Ted wouldn't fully understand his condition, he would know from how many times he transforms perhaps it's due to drop in atmospheric composition when the Earth blocks the sun.

reply

Perhaps they left it vague so your not quite sure if the werewolf is supernatural or biological, if the changing at any moon is due to moonlight or tidal effects.
