I know this is being stupid on my part, but why did the dad wait over 10 months to open the shed? I mean, come on.

And if Tobias and his woman knew about the Dollhouse or whatever at the party why did they let it happen?

I think that Tobias and his woman wanted to make sure before telling them.

Never take life too seriously, no gets out alive anyway.
