Does anyone else find that boy Jimmy incredibly annoying? I mean he complains and whines in this movie and never even give his new family a chance and always belittles them. Then at one point he says that if it weren't for his mouse he'd be a total outcast. That's no surprise. I thought it was great how that spider fell on him and scared the hell out of him. He totally deserves that.
shareWell, even though 'my' name is Jimmy, and I look a bit like him, I'm not offended by that. And I agree. If I were him, I'd at least give Bill a chance. And when he complains that Todd hates him, he's often the one who starts the fights.

Jimmy was the worst character in this film. Every scene with him was excruciating. I suspect he'd grow up to be a serial litigator or something. And really: Would a boy who loved mice so much be terrified of spiders?
shareI think by using Jimmy, they over played the Geek role. Jimmy was a geek to the 100th power. I was hoping that the demons would get him and never give him back and the mom and the rest of the family could live happily ever after.

I didn't find him annoying. He was actually my favorite character in the film as a matter of fact. He reminds me of someone I used to go to school with.
