Well, it wasn't great, but the dollhouse WAS pretty cool!
At least they did a good job on the prop. It would be cool to own one!
shareGrowing up I tried to build a replica, but never managed to finish them. I currently own a model of the original movie house, but it has no rooms inside, it's just the exterior.
I had talked with one of the guys who helped build the house and he said it kept falling apart during filming, I guess from being moved so much. And also, they built two houses, one for the majority of the movie and an exterior model with no rooms for the end when the dollhouse gets put in the fireplace.
